Do you want to enjoy a crazy and cultural active summer university? So you think you can dance? Are you creative enough to excel in the Seven Arts? Do you want to learn more about the Greek culture? Are you fun enough to contribute to the unique thematic parties of AEGEE-Athina? Are you a sports lover and cannot live a day without working out? Are you ready to feel like an athlete of the Olympic Games? Then this Summer University is for you! Dates: 23/7-6/8 Athens, the cradle of civilization during the years will be our first destination. We will visit many monuments, such as Acropolis and its new museum, National Archeological museum and many others. We also spend lot of time in the historical part of the Athens, in other words in Monastiraki, Thiseio and of course the magnificent Plaka district full of pebbled streets and old neoclassical buildings. Our next destination will be Nafplion, the first capital of Greece and one of the most beautiful and historical cities with quaint narrow streets, buildings and squares. Then touring the Peloponnese, you will have the chance to visit the great Greek ancient monument of Mykines and the great Epidaurus Theater. We will end up our tour visiting Lefkada, one of the most beautiful and green islands, which is located in the North-West part of the country. There we will enjoy the magnificent beaches (some of the best in Europe, such as Porto Katsiki and Kathisma) and the deep blue sea, of Ionian Sea. We will also experience some local cultural events, like funfair at the traditional villages. Organizers will do their best for you to feel comfortable and suntanned! AEGEE-Athina welcomes you for another time to experience true hospitality! If you believe you are strong enough to survive two sleepless weeks under the impact of Greek sun, frappe and madness, do not hesitate to take part to the best summer university of the year...!!!!! |
