1st meeting of National Working Group for European Youth Dialogue under the 8th cycle on September 16, 2021
Youth Goal #9 “Space and Participation for ALL”
Aegee-Athina as a member of the National Working Group participated in the 1st meeting “EU Youth dialogue” for the 8th cycle and Youth Goal No9 “Space and Participation for ALL”, held on 16 September 2020. The Minister of Education and Religious Affair, Nikis Kerameos, as well as the Secretary General of Vocational Education, Training and Lifelong Learning, Mr. George Voutsinos, who is in charge of the youth policy area, are waiting for the recording of our views and proposals, through which we can all together design our national strategy in the youth policy area. At the same time, through this dialogue process, we can actively participate in the implementation of the objectives of the new Strategy of the European Union, which should take into account the needs and interests of the youth of our country. AEGEE-Athina engaged in the discussion aiming to create concrete and measurable results form the process to act as multipliers, in order to open the dialogueto the whole range of youth bodies, the state and society, with particular emphasis on the participation of young people who do not belong to organized groups, but especially for those of vulnerable groups in society.
